The Cheerful Spirit: God's Hotline Numbers

You don't need a cellular phone or a telephone to call God. In fact, you can always call God 24 hours a day, any call is free of charge, and there will be no busy line because He is always available to listen to you.

While sorting out my things the other day, I found these old notes.

Then I remember, these aren't just notes. It's a gift given by my closest friend, Ate Nayds years ago. She's one of the most thoughtful persons I’ve known. Sadly, I haven’t heard from her since.

There must be a reason why it showed up just in time when I needed some...uplifting, I guess.

So, as I read these beautiful pages, let me share with you what the content’s all about. Hopefully, it will be of use to you as well, dear ones.

Now, do you want to be with God in heaven someday for eternity? If yes, then just do what the second criminal did on the cross (Luke 23:39 - 42). Though he is a sinner, Jesus assured him, “I tell you the truth today you will be with me in paradise.” You too can be with God in heaven someday. How? Like the second criminal on the cross, accept that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior. Then believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is your only Lord and Savior through this prayer:

"Almighty God, I am a sinner and in need of a Savior. Thank you for loving me through Your Son Jesus Christ, who died for me and all of my sins. I now accept Jesus as my only Lord and Savior. Amen."

If you have done this, you have been born in God's family. One day, God who is faithful, true and just will welcome you home in heaven.

Since Jesus Christ showed His love by dying for us and all of our sins, let us now show our love by living for Him. To know more about God and His more than 7,000 promises for you and me, let us read the Holy Bible (the word of God).
